Pastor Allen King has served as lead pastor at River of Life Church in Valdese, North Carolina since 2002. He has been preaching the gospel for over thirty years. He has been a lead pastor for over twenty years. He also has nearly ten years of experience as a full-time youth pastor. In addition to serving as River of Life's lead pastor, Pastor King also leads Frontline Student Ministries. His passion is to invest in this generation of young people, to help lead them into the Father's destiny for their lives.
Pastor King has also toured extensively as a musician, as well as working as a radio announcer, broadcast journalist, newspaper reporter, school administrator, stand up comedian, and cowboy.
Pastor King spent four terms on the Western North Carolina Church of God State Youth and Christian Education Board. He has been the speaker for a number of youth camps and conferences. He is also the founder and director of Rubicon Youth Conferences.
He and his wife, Regina, have four daughters, two sons-in-law, two grandsons, and a Chihuahua. All four daughters are actively involved in ministry at their local churches.
